Dr. Stephen Bloch-Schulman, Professor and Chair of the Department of Philosophy at Elon University, works at the intersection of contemporary critical theory (democratic theory, critical race and critical whiteness theory, genocide studies, and feminism) and the scholarship of teaching and learning. Bloch-Schulman was selected as the winner of the American Philosophical Association’s inaugural Prize for Excellence in Philosophy Teaching in 2017.
